Installation of your Solar Powered Ventilator (SPV) unit
    • Requirements
      • The SPV is formed for Piper Aircraft, fitting all models from the Cherokees through the Senecas (Compatibility Table). No special mounting or alteration to the aircraft required.

    • Adaptible to Conditions
      • The solar panel is extremely lightweight and flexible and can be placed anywhere it may catch the most sun. A good spot to place the panel is directly on the glare shield, provided the plane is parked so it will receive direct sunlight. If your plane has a canopy, the solar panel may be positioned anywhere on the exterior of the plane, probably directly on the canopy either on top of the fuselage or over the windshield area. The panel may be secured using Velcro, bungee cords, sewed on directly to the canopy or fastened anyway you may think of.

    • Instalation Steps
      1. In the Cabin, open your vent window.
      2. Position SPV into window. Place bottom edge of SPV unit into window opening.
      3. Push top of SPV toward window until SPV is flush with window surface. Secure window latch holding SPV unit in place.
      4. Position solar panel and connect power cord to SPV unit.
