VPP Announces Lower Shipping Rates
January 26, 2004

Shipping rates have been revised by Vantage Plane Plastics. No more handling fees! Previously, shipping fees and delivery varied depending on orders, now most Foreign and U.S. Domestic orders will be shipped via Fed Ex within two to three days guaranteed.

For example, with the older rates, an order that would have shipped for $165.74 to Alaska will be shipped for $64.93 with the new rates. Another example, a customer who places an order from Australia, would have paid $833.41 for shipping, and with the new rates the order was shipped to them for $528.61.

Currently, Vantage E-Business Solutions Center is developing a Fed Ex Module. Our Fed Ex Module will allow customers to know exact shipping charges for their orders when they order and the delivery process will be expedited. Look for the Fed Ex Module to be available online within the first quarter of this year. Currently, shipping rates online are estimated and most times the rates will be lower.

Adhesives Added to Accessories Line

Adhesives are a “must have” when adding door seals, windlace, upholstery and more. Vantage Plane Plastics has two types available online now, 3M Fast Tack Trim and 3M Super Weatherstrip.

3M Fast Tack Trim is light, non-staining, fast drying, quick, and easy to apply. 3M Super Weatherstrip is strong, flexible, waterproof, and easy to apply as well. Directions are available in Adobe PDF format and HTML format online. We recommend just one 5oz. tube per aircraft. A little goes a long way! Click here for more information.

VPP Adds New Product to Expanding Accessories Line

Windlace is now available from the Vantage Plane Plastics accessories line. Our windlace has been burn certified and exceeds FAR25.853. Replacing the original windlace will accent the interior of your aircraft. Whether replacing part or all, of your interior, this accessory item is a “must have” for your aircraft.

Our windlace is available in a variety of colors and can be ordered by the foot. Our current stock colors are camel (tan) and grey which compliment our two most popular paint colors and it can be shipped within one business day. LP Qwik Finder Module Available Online

Find all of your LP Aero Products all in one location, with the LP Qwik Finder Module. Created by the Vantage E-Business Solutions Center, this new module allows customers to view and purchase most LP Aero windows and windshields that Vantage Plane Plastics offers. This is the only module that allows you to select your windows and windshields quickly and easily.

Built in the same layout as Express Lookup, LP Qwik Finder allows the user to select the make, model and serial number of the windows and windshields, in three simple steps. Within seconds you will have a list with all color selections and the purchase option all in one page.

Available aircraft at this time are the 150/152, 172/175, 177, 182 and 210 sections.

By using the three simple steps, visitors to www.planeplastics.com can select the make, model, and serial number of their aircraft, and within seconds see a complete list of parts and accessories that Vantage Plane Plastics manufactures. At the top of the list is a line drawing showing how the parts fit into the aircraft. The graphic can be enlarged to match numbers with the part listings.
